  • Product Description
  • Parameters
  • Epoxy-resin dry-type transformers use epoxy resin as the insulating material, with high-voltage windings wound from wire and low-voltage windings formed by foil winding. The transformer is cast in a vacuum using epoxy resin, which then cures to form a high-strength glass-fiber-reinforced plastic body.

Epoxy-resin dry-type transformers feature excellent electrical performance, strong resistance to lightning surges, robust short-circuit withstand capability, high mechanical strength, low partial discharge levels, and high reliability. They can also be equipped with a temperature display controller to monitor and regulate the operating temperature of the transformer windings, thereby ensuring the transformer’s normal service life.

The resin insulation on both the inner and outer sides of the windings is thin, providing excellent heat dissipation. The typical cooling method is natural air cooling (AN); however, a forced-air cooling system (AF) can be configured for transformers of any protection class.

Low noise, low losses, excellent energy-saving performance, and economical operation.

As a next-generation dry-type transformer, the SC(B)-type dry-type transformer is widely used for power supply in the following applications: high-rise buildings, commercial centers, theaters, hospitals, industrial and mining enterprises, offshore oil drilling platforms, ships, subways, railway stations, airports, power plants, and residential communities.
